Photos | Trae Tha Truth celebrates Trae Day 2012
July, 22, 2008 Trae Tha Truth was awarded by, then Mayor of Houston, Bill White with his honorary holiday for his philanthropic work in the city of Houston. While previous Trae Day celebrations taunted big name performances like Lupe Fiasco and 2 Chainz, this year’s Trae Day was a low-key, celebrity free event held at Emancipation Park in the 3rd Ward area of Houston. Trae wanted to make the event all about the kids with moonwalks, face paintings, Reebok giveaways and a live DJ to entertain. Thank you to Target, WalMart, Office Depot, Sam’s Club, Coca Cola, Aztec Rentals, Let’s Have A Party, HEB & more for helping to support Trae and the children of Houston.
