You Should Know: 3D Na’Tee

I was introduced to Na’Tee in 2010 after watching her “Deuces” video on WSHH. Curious, I downloaded her mixtape Guess Who’s Coming 2 Dinner and DAMN. This bitch diva has more bars than Washington Ave.

Na’Tee is a New Orleans native whose lyrics are feminine enough to make a woman have a “proud box” and hard enough to make any nigga in the rap game cry. Yes, cry. I can’t recall a female rapping about trapping and sex since Lil Kim. Not to compare, Na’Tee if most definitely in a league of her own and will out flow your favorite rapper. I can imagine her countering Rick Ross’ mannish ways on a track easily. The road to success has not been an easy one for Na’Tee:

Unfortunately every since I was 5 years old I had to deal with the fact that both my parents were crack cocaine addicts. The things that most of my classmates took for granted like field trip money or even time with both parents in the household, for instance, was a privilege for me. I had to get things on my own even at a young age. That led me to run ins with the law and over all poor decisions. However, I had faith in the fact that my talent could change my future.

“Switch” is without a doubt the best song on Na’Tee’s mixtape and will be the video that propelled her to stardom. Being that she has been ducked off with Mr. Steroids himself, Timbaland, it is safe to say Na’Tee is coming to a speaker near you very soon.
